I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Irigoienea! Thank you so much for making my one-night visit so comfortable. the location is absolutely stunning, and the staff is incredibly charming. I also appreciated being able to visit Lewes Priory Park, which is just a short distance from the hotel. the restaurant offered a fantastic selection of delicious dishes as well.

Large bedding.
A flat-screen TV, a sitting area, and a study table in the room, absolutely perfect and lovely location. The views over mountain. Location just off fields and hills, the restaurants, and three pubs. Also, in a quiet area.

Unbelievable 17th century building in a serene rural setting near the French border. Mind-blowing local breakfast buffet, super helpful owner, and charming staff. Jaw-droppingly clean and value for money.

The rooms at Hotel Rural Irigoienea were so cozy and charming! I loved the traditional wooden beams and floors, it made me feel like I was staying in a rustic cabin. The sloping ceilings added a unique touch and made the room feel more intimate. The central heating and flat-screen TV were also great features to have. As a light sleeper, I appreciated that the room was equipped with a matrimonial bed, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
Personally, I found the sloping ceilings to be a bit low in some areas. But I understand that this is just my subjective opinion and others may still enjoy the room's cozy atmosphere.

The surrounding area is a hiker's paradise, with breathtaking landscapes and endless opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. We explored the nearby Pyrenees Mountains, where we were treated to stunning views and invigorating hikes. It was the perfect way to reconnect with nature and create lasting memories as a family.
My children wanted more activities specifically tailored for kids.

The hotel was beautifully restored and located in a rustic village. the covered terrace for breakfast and the nice garden were a great touch. the stay was good value for money and the breakfast provided was adequate. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. the hotel is also conveniently located near the French border, making it a great base for exploring the Basque country.
The hotel could use some updates as it felt a bit dated. there were no options for half board, with only snacks being served.
